We provide reserved pick-up
Let Galveston Express take you to the island in the comfort of a Mercedes Sprinter Van that can hold up to 14 passengers with all your luggage. We offer drop-off service to most hotels on Galveston Island and we can even drop you off at a rental car location on the island so you and your group can have a car during your stay in Galveston.
Many hotels on Galveston Island offer transfers to the cruise terminal and most are within walking distance to the seawall, or other local attractions. Some are within walking distance to the cruise terminal as well.
We pick up and drop off at all hotels in Galveston EXCEPT the Holiday Inn Club Vacation on Termini-San Luis Rd.
We do not pick up or drop off at hotels or residential addresses located on Termini San Luis Pass Rd, Jamaica Beach, Crystal Beach, Tiki Island or Pirate’s Beach or any other residential address west of 95th and Seawall without approval by phone. Galveston Express also offers service from your hotel in Galveston to the cruise port on the day of your cruise.
You get safe and affordable transportation for the cost of about $40 per person, each way, to and from George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) and even less for those flying into or out of William P. Hobby Airport (HOU).
Need a ride outside of our scheduled runs? If you already have a group give us a call. You can rent one of our vans for a private shuttle service to any destination on Galveston Island.
Don’t have a group? You can find other cruisers looking to form groups through roll-calls on sites like Facebook or Cruise-Critic . Travelers are already forming groups for the various excursions during the cruise so it just makes sense to group up and save money on this leg of the journey so you can have more for the real adventure at sea.
